3. Cardiff Drums
Third is Cardiff Drums, which provides a teaching programme that develops an understanding of different styles of music, and links written notation with the experience of playing music. This ensures that rhythm is linked to melody, and is seen as part of the whole style rather than being isolated. The Drumsense programme provides connection to the Rockschool examination system, and is the basis of the Trinity College of Music drum kit syllabus.
